In 1995, the family of Dick Rose decided to commemorate his life by founding the Angel On My Shoulder Foundation. Inspired by the strength of his love as a husband, father, and friend, the foundation's work made a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals and families affected by cancer for nearly 30 years.
As part of their deep commitment to continue this work for future generations, Dick's family chose to sunset the foundation and transition the mission from a "Labor of Love" to a "Legacy of Love." Proceeds from the Angel On My Shoulder Foundation, now shared by the Froedtert Hospital Foundation and three other Wisconsin hospitals, will continue to benefit children and families following a cancer diagnosis or the loss of a loved one from cancer.
A gift in memory of Dick benefits the Angel On My Shoulder Rose Family Child Life/Oncology Program Endowed Fund at Froedtert Hospital, and provides a loving and enduring source of support.
